Built on Discipline. Driven by Data. Defined by Perspective.
From the tennis courts of the NCAA to the frontlines of international expansion, my career has been shaped by a relentless drive to compete and a passion for connecting cultures.
THE ORIGIN: COMPETITIVE DNA
The foundation of my work ethic…
I picked up my first tennis racket at four years old. That moment sparked a journey that would define the next two decades of my life.
While I loved every sport I played—from skiing in the mountains to flag football on the field—tennis was where I learned to stand on my own. It taught me that results don't lie.
That drive took me to the international level and eventually to the United States as a NCAA Division 1 Student-Athlete. Whether playing for Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia or finishing my career in Portland, Oregon, the lesson remained the same: Resilience is a skill, and leadership is earned.
As Captain of my teams, I learned that winning isn't just about talent; it's about strategy, preparation, and lifting those around you. Today, I bring that same competitive intensity to my clients' businesses. I don't just want you to participate in a new market; I want you to win.
THE GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
Why I understand international markets…
You cannot teach "perspective" in a classroom. You have to live it.
My life has been a study in adaptation. I have lived in Switzerland, Quebec, the United States, and now the United Kingdom.
But my education went beyond geography. Growing up, I was shaped by mentors and coaches from every corner of the globe—from Quebec and the US to Africa, Cambodia, Italy, and Serbia. Through these experiences, I didn't just visit places; I built a global network of friends and connections across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Each relationship taught me to see the world through a different lens.
This exposure ingrained in me a deep conviction: Business is cultural. To succeed in international trade, you must listen to everyone, understand the nuance of the local perspective, and adapt your approach. This is the "soft skill" that allows me to negotiate deals across oceans where others fail.
THE ANALYTICS SPIRIT
The Analytical Edge: Protecting Your Bottom Line…
While my years at Thomas Jefferson University (International Business) and Portland State University (Marketing) gave me the theory, my expertise in finance comes from pure, unadulterated curiosity.
Growing up with a father in finance, I developed a fascination with the stock market early on. Alongside the typical hobbies of a kid like video games and sports, I found myself spending hours teaching myself how to read market trends, decipher balance sheets, understand P/E ratios and understand ROI of companies.
This passion for data followed me into adulthood. I didn't just take Excel and Tableau classes; I used them to build tools. I remember creating my first live Portfolio Manager dashboard in Google Sheets—building complex formulas to adapt to the market in real-time—just to see if I could.
I have always loved the art of presentation—taking complex data and making it clear, compelling, and actionable.
THE MISSION TODAY
Connecting the dots for Hooké and You.
Today, all these threads—the discipline of the athlete, the adaptability of the traveler, and the precision of the analyst—have converged in HT Markets & Metrics.
I put these competencies to the test in the real world as the International Development Lead for Hooké, helping a brand I admire navigate the complexities of European expansion.
As a Sole Trader based in the United Kingdom, my mission is simple: To be the partner you wish to have. To bring you the resilience to push through challenges, the conviction to stick to the plan, and the global network to open doors.
